Description
These gorgeous earrings were created in the late Victorian era, known as the Aesthetic Period, and are crafted from chrysoprase and black enamel in 14K yellow gold. The textured metal is a beautiful contrast to the green chrysoprase and enamel. An excellent pair of antique earrings to add to your collection!
The earrings are in good antique condition, with a few minor signs of wear. The gold and chrysoprase have a few fine lines and marks under magnification, but nothing noticeable. The kidney wires are stamped 585 for 14K gold. The enamel has a few areas of damage, mainly on the outer ring. Please review the photographs for enamel condition. The tiny green spots on the gold are called verdigris and can be removed.
The earrings measure 1-3/4″ tall and 1/4″ wide and weighs 3.45 grams. The box is for display only.
