This is a beautiful expansion bracelet made by the Bugbee & Niles company in the 1910s. The gold-filled ribbon bracelet links are lightly decorated with elegant Victorian designs. A great piece of jewelry history that stretches to fit most wrist sizes!
Bugbee & Niles Company was founded in 1896 in Providence, Rhode Island. They manufactured jewelry until 1943
The bracelet is in very good condition for its age, with minimal signs of wear. The stretchy bracelet is still tight and retracts to its original shape if expanded. The metal has a few fine lines and marks, but nothing noticeable or obvious. The inside is marked B&N.
The band is 1-1/8″ wide, and the bracelet can stretch from 5″ to 9″ in length and weighs 46.88 grams.
