Description
This gorgeous, hand-crafted purse made in the Edwardian era features orangish-red glass beads in a cascading looped fringe pattern. The simple silver filigree frame contrasts nicely with the vibrant beads. A gorgeous antique purse for a fancy night on the town!
The purse is in good to very good antique condition. It is rare to find a beaded bag this old with no damage to the beads. There are no broken strings or missing beads. The silver has light wear and patina, but nothing noticeable or distracting. The ball kiss clasp is fully functional and secures the purse. The lining is not torn, ripped, or stained. A few tiny threads are sticking out near the frame and on the lining.
The bag weighs 7.43oz and measures 16-3/4 inches long with the chain, 8″ without, and 7″ wide.
