Made in the 1930s, this classic Art deco rings features one large, black onyx tablet framed in yellow gold. There is a small two-point diamond (0.02 ct) in the center surrounded by white gold in the shape of a diamond. The ring's shoulders are decorated with light, geometric Art deco patterns. Very simple and elegant ring, great for many different styles and occasions!
The ring is in very good to good vintage condition with minor signs of wear. The surface of the onyx is abraded which is visible under reflected light. It's not noticeable from a distance while wearing but at an angle up close. The surface of the gold shows fine signs of wear, typical of vintage jewelry. The stones are all secure in their settings and do not wiggle. A GIA Graduate Gemologist tested the diamond and onyx, and the ring is marked 10K. The ring was resized in the past and there is a mark on the back of the shank.
The ring is a size 7.25 and cannot be sized. The onyx measures 9/16" tall and 3/8" wide and weighs 2.45 grams. The box for display only.
