The ring is in very good vintage condition with minor signs of wear. The garnets are in very good condition, none are cracked or chipped, but some have tiny nicks on the facet junctions under magnification. The garnets do not wiggle and are secure in the mounting. The shank is stamped with a hare’s head 3 (Czech silver mark) and G2, which authenticates the genuine Bohemian garnet made in Czechoslovakia. The gold wash’s surface shows fine lines and marks typical of vintage jewelry with a larger area of wear on the inside of the band. A GIA Graduate Gemologist tested the stones.
