Description
Crafted in the 1960s, this fabulous onyx, enamel, and 10K yellow gold ring features a large star representing the Order of the Eastern Star. Each point has a different color enamel that holds significance within the organization. The black onyx is a beautiful background to the vibrant gold and enameling.
The Order of the Eastern Star was a Freemasonic organization founded in the 1850s and allowed men and women to become members. The order is based on the teachings of the Bible, but all religions are welcome in the organization.
The ring is in very good vintage condition with minimal signs of wear. The shank is stamped 10K and a worn maker’s mark. The onyx has a few fine lines and marks, nothing noticeable or obvious. The enamel is not chipped or cracked.
The ring is 5.75 and can be sized. The head measures 6/8″ tall and 1.2″ wide and weighs 3.56 grams. The box is for display only.
I try to accurately portray the item in the description and images. Please note the measurements in the details section, as the item can appear more prominent than the actual size.
