Vintage 1930s Art Deco Carnelian Cabochon, Marcasite, and Sterling Plate Ring Size 5 - 30s Orange Carnelian, Marcasite, Silver Plate Ring

This gorgeous ring from the 1930s is set with sparkling marcasite and a glowing carnelian cabochon. Marcasite is faceted iron pyrite and was once referred to as "brilliants" in the Jazz era because they sparkled in the candlelight. A beautiful Art Deco ring to add to your collection!

The ring is in very good vintage condition with minimal signs of wear. There are no missing or chipped marcasites, and the carnelian cabochon is intact and firmly secure. The shank is stamped STERLING, but the ring is silver-plated. There are noticeable chips from the silver plate on the underside and rear shank. There is a moderate patina layer that can be polished upon request.

The ring is a size 5 and cannot be sized. The ring measures 13/16" tall and 5/8" wide and weighs 4.66 grams. The box is for display only.
