Vintage 1940s UNCAS Imitation Onyx and Sterling Silver Oval Statement Flower Ring Size 7.75

This simple and elegant ring by the Uncas jewelry company is adorned with sweet flowers and imitation black onyx. The vintage 1940s silver pops against the dark stone, and the oval shape complements and elongates your finger. It is a wonderful addition to your vintage collection!

Uncas was founded by Vincent Sorrentino in Providence, Rhode Island, in 1911 and is still manufacturing jewelry today. They have stayed in business for so long by keeping up with trends and manufacturing jewelry for Universal Studios and Disney.

The ring is in very good vintage condition with minimal signs of wear. There are tiny nicks and chips in the imitation onyx and silver, typically of vintage pieces, but nothing noticeable or distracting. The inside of the shank is stamped STERLING and a U with an arrow through it. Uncas first trademarked that maker‘s mark in 1947, which helps to date the piece to the late 40s or early 50s.
