These colorful and playful earrings were created by the legendary jewelry company Danecraft in the 1980s. The baguette-cut glass is placed in a rainbow gradient and set into glistening 14K yellow gold filled metal. The earrings are arranged into a spiral or corkscrew motif, which adds a bit of design and movement. A beautiful set of earrings for Spring and Summer!
The Danecraft jewelry company has a rich history that dates back to 1934, when it was founded by Victor Primavera in Providence, Rhode Island. Over the decades, the brand has become renowned for its high-quality sterling silver jewelry, innovative designs, and enduring craftsmanship, earning a loyal following of customers and cementing its position as a leading name in the industry.
The earrings are in very good vintage condition with minimal signs of wear. The gold fill surface has fine lines and marks on the front side, but the gold has worn off the post from years of use. This is not noticeable while the earrings are worn. The butterfly backs are stamped 14K G.F. and Danecraft. The glass is not chipped or cracked and is secure in the setting.
The earrings measure 3/4" tall and 9/16" wide and weigh 5.38 grams.
