The necklace is in good antique condition with some signs of wear. The gilded silver shows wear, mainly on the back, which is not visible when worn. A few garnets have tiny nicks and signs of abrasion at the facet junctions under magnification. The garnets do not have significant chips or cracks. The pendant has no marks or stamps; the chain is a gold-filled replacement.
The necklace is 18" long, the pendant is 1-1/2" tall and 1-3/8" wide, and it weighs 10.27 grams. The box is for display only.
