Antique 1890s Victorian Heart Red Garnet and Silver Pendant Choker 16" Necklace

This stunning heart garnet pendant hails from the late Victorian era and is expertly set in silver. The vibrant rose-cut red garnet stands out against the silky repousse silver etched with a Roman star and engraved "Will" on the back. A charming antique heart necklace for a loved one!

The piece is in excellent antique condition, with minimal signs of wear. The garnet exhibits no signs of chips or cracks, but it does have a few fine lines on its surface. The sterling chain is not original to the piece. A fine patina layer is available for polishing upon request. The back is stamped 'WILL' and 'STERLING'.

The necklace is 18" long, the small pendant measures 7/8" tall and 1/2" wide, and weighs 4.01 grams. The box is for display only.
