This 1900s Victorian Scottish Agate and Silver Link Statement Bracelet is a rare example of Scottish pebble jewelry—a style that gained popularity across Britain during Queen Victoria’s reign. After her beloved Prince Albert gifted her a piece made with native Scottish stones, these vibrant agates became a fashionable way to express love for the Highlands.
Handcrafted in sterling silver and set with richly colored agates in warm earth tones, this 6.5" bracelet was not only a fashion statement in its day but also a cherished souvenir of Scotland’s natural beauty. Today, it remains a timeless wearable relic of Victorian elegance.
The bracelet is in very good antique condition with minimal signs of wear. The agates have a few fine lines and marks, typical of antique wear. The silver has a moderate layer of patina that can be polished upon request. There are a few prongs that protrude slightly, and a few have missing tips. This is an easy fix by a jeweler. The box clasp is fully functional, with no marks or stamps.
The bracelet measures 6-1/2" long, 7/16" wide, and weighs 16.24 grams. The box is for display only.
