Buckle jewelry was wildly popular in the Victorian era, symbolizing a bond between giver and receiver. This gorgeous Victorian revival buckle sash pin is made from sterling silver. The elaborate chased designs in the metal give the brooch character. It‘s an excellent vintage buckle to add to your collection!

The brooch is in very good vintage condition with minimal signs of wear. The surface of the silver has fine lines and marks and a heavy layer of patina, which can be polished upon request. The back is stamped STERLING 2 69 and has a worn maker‘s mark.

The brooch measures 2-1/8" wide and 2" tall and weighs 12.48 grams. The box is for display only.
