These beautiful earrings, crafted from 900 silver with a yellow gold wash, feature 58 rose-cut pyrope garnets sourced from the hills of Czechoslovakia. The open-back setting allows sunlight to shine through the stones, making them sparkle and glow. The stones' cluster motif, popular in the Georgian and Victorian eras, adds character and style to these earrings. They are perfect for any occasion or for a January baby!
Bohemian garnets came from Bohemia's hills in Czechoslovakia and were very popular with the European upper class from the 1820s to the 1920s. To learn more about Bohemian garnets, read our blog post here:

The earrings are in very good vintage condition with minimal signs of wear. The metal's surface has signs of wear, mainly on the backs, which you cannot see when wearing the earrings. There are areas of minor patina that can be polished upon request. The posts are stamped 900 (90% silver), G2 (Granat Turnov hallmark), and a hare's head (Czech silver). A GIA Graduate Gemologist examined the garnets. The screw backs are fully functional and secure to the ear.Â
The earrings measure 5/8" tall and wide and weigh 5.13 grams. The box is for display only.
