Crafted by Anson in the 1960s, these are fabulous vintage silver cufflinks with elegantly minimal design. These great mid-century cufflinks are rendered from silver-tone metal. Very simple and timeless, great for all occasions and suit types!
Anson was founded by Olof Anderson in 1934 and began producing dyes and tools for jewelry making. During WWII, he adapted his machines to support the war effort and abbreviated the company name to Anson. In 1948, the company shifted its focus to men‘s fashion accessories, manufacturing them in Providence, Rhode Island. In the 1960s, they added women‘s jewelry to their range, and today, their pieces remain highly collectible.
The cufflinks are in very good vintage condition with minimal signs of wear. The metal shows fine signs of wear, typical of vintage items. There are no signs of tarnish or rust, and Anson is stamped on the posts. The torpedo toggles are fully functional.
The cufflinks measure 3/4" wide and 1/2" wide and weigh 7.81 grams. The box is for display only.
