Crafted in 1962 by the Boucher Jewelry Company, these stunning leaf earrings feature clear rhinestones set in gold-plated metal. The foliate design sparkles with pavé-set white round-cut rhinestones that catch the eye. They make a perfect addition to your vintage clip-on earrings collection!
Marcel Boucher, a French-born designer who trained with Cartier, established the Boucher Jewelry Company in New York in 1937 after relocating to the United States. Renowned for its high-quality costume jewelry, Boucher pieces often featured intricate designs, innovative enameling techniques, and detailed metalwork that made them some of the most collectible jewelry of the mid-20th century.
The earrings are in excellent condition, with minimal signs of wear. The surface of the rhinestones has a few fine lines and marks, but they are not noticeable or obvious. The backs are hallmarked 'BOUCHER' and stamped '8281' (design number dating the earrings to 1962).
The earrings measure 1" wide and 1-1/4" tall and weigh 10.18 grams. The box is for display only.
