Unique and gorgeous, this necklace was crafted in the 1960s from sterling silver and Morpho menelaus butterfly wings. The clear glass setting lets you see the iridescent blue butterfly wing glowing in the sunlight. It's a fabulous vintage pendant necklace to add to your collection!
The necklace is in very good vintage condition with minimal signs of wear. The surface of the glass has a couple of light marks, but nothing noticeable or distracting. The butterfly wing is in excellent condition with no damage or signs of age. The bail is stamped '925' for sterling silver.
The necklace is 18" long, the pendant measures 1-1/4" tall and 3/4" wide, and weighs 5.55 grams. The box is for display only.
