Crafted during the mid-century, this Bohemian-style bracelet features 144 rose-cut pyrope garnets set in gold-washed 800 silver. The small garnet clusters capture sunlight and glisten in the bracelet. It's a wonderful vintage piece to add to your collection!

The name "garnet" comes from the Latin word "granatum," which means pomegranate. Garnet symbolizes fire, Mars, and Scorpio. Its vibrant red hues linked garnet to blood during Medieval times and were thought to cure various circulatory issues while helping the liver expel toxins. Garnet embodies virtues such as true friendship, passion, success, self-esteem, and fidelity, making it a popular stone for betrothals in earlier times. It promotes confidence, which made it a favored gemstone among ancient warriors. Some even believe that pyrope garnets reside within the Ark of the Covenant.

The bracelet is in very good vintage condition with minimal signs of wear. The surface of the metal has fine lines and marks, nothing noticeable or obvious. The garnets are not chipped or cracked and only have a few nicks on the facet junctions. The spring ring clasp is fully functional, stamped 800, and has a maker's mark.

The bracelet measures 7-1/4" long, 1/4" wide, and weighs 10.53 grams.

I try to portray the item accurately in my photographs and written description. Please note the measurements in the description, as images can often make the item appear more substantial than its actual size.
