This stunning Bohemian garnet-style cluster necklace is made with 36 rose-cut pyrope garnets set in 800 silver. The cluster of garnets captures sunlight and glows from within, creating a beautiful contrast with the metal. Crafted in the 1960s in Sweden, this gorgeous garnet necklace is a perfect piece for January babies or garnet enthusiasts!
The necklace is in excellent vintage condition with only minor signs of wear. The garnets are in very good shape, with no significant chips or cracks, and are securely set in the mount. Under magnification, the garnets show tiny nicks on their facet junctions. The bail is stamped with a three-crown hallmark (a Swedish hallmark), and bears the S mark (indicating Swedish silver fineness). The chain is not original to the piece.
The necklace measures 20", and the pendant is 1-3/8" tall and 3/4" wide, and weighs 9.25 grams. The box is for display only.
