Monet began in the 1920s as Monocraft, a custom monographing company started by the Chernow brothers. In the mid-1930s, they ventured into the jewelry industry and hired lead designer Edmond Mario Granville from Cartier to propel Monet into costume jewelry royalty.
The pin is in very good vintage condition with minimal signs of wear. The metal‘s surface has a few light areas of wear, mainly on the back, but nothing noticeable or obvious. The back is stamped MONET.
The necklace is 2-3/4" tall, 1-5/8" wide, and weighs 22.49 grams. The box is for display only.
