This vintage yellow gold-plated 1980s Monet brooch will enhance any outfit. It's a superb designer piece adorned with clear rhinestones, a hanging imitation pearl, and red enamel to boost your collection!
Monet started in the 1920s as Monocraft, a custom monographing company founded by the Chernow brothers. In the mid-1930s, they moved into the jewelry industry and hired lead designer Edmond Mario Granville from Cartier to elevate Monet to costume jewelry royalty.
The pin is in very good vintage condition with minimal signs of wear. The metal's surface has a few light areas of wear, mainly on the back, but nothing noticeable or obvious. The back is stamped MONET.
The necklace is 1-7/8" tall, 3/4" wide, and weighs 9.06 grams. The box is for display only.
