This beautiful peridot and diamond ring is prong-set in 10K yellow and white gold. The mixed metal design complements the two single-point diamonds and 0.84-carat oval-cut peridot. Crafted in the 1980s, this glowing ring would be a fantastic addition to your vintage collection!

Peridot is derived from the Arabic word "faridat," meaning gem. The Egyptians called it the "gem of light." Throughout history, the stone has consistently been linked with light. Wearers of peridot believe that it protects them from evil and nighttime terrors. Peridot is a rare stone and is found only in a few locations worldwide.

The ring is in very good to excellent vintage condition with slight wear. The surface of the gold has fine lines and marks, typical of vintage jewelry. The peridot is not chipped or cracked and has a few tiny nicks under magnification along the facet junctions. The shank is stamped 10K and has a worn maker‘s mark.

The ring is a size 7.25 and can be sized. The peridots measures 7 mm x 5 mm x 3.6 mm and weighs 0.84-carats, and the ring weighs 3.04 grams. The box is for display only.
