Taxco silver is highly desirable and collectible, known for its outstanding craftsmanship in every piece. Taxco is a small town nestled between Acapulco and Mexico City with a rich mining history. In the late 1920s, a highway was finally built to reach Taxco, allowing William Spratling, a man from the US, to discover the town and its potential in the artisan community. He invited well-known metalsmiths to mentor young artists, and soon the world recognized the exceptional quality of the jewelry they created.
