A fantastic pair of Native American earrings for your collection! These magnificent 1990s earrings feature the figure of Kokopelli in two layers of sterling silver. The earrings are shaped like arrowheads, which adds to their tribal appeal.

Kokopelli is a deity of the American Southwest and is a fertility god for numerous Native American tribes. Often depicted as a flute-playing hunchback, Kokopelli is the god of agriculture, childbirth, and musical spirit. Kokopelli travels from tribe to tribe, seducing with his flute and impregnating young women. Known as a trickster god, Kokopelli - a symbol - is 3000 years old and dates back to the ancient Anasazi. Petroglyphs of him still cover the Southwest, and Kokopelli has become a symbol for the region over the years.

The earrings are in very good vintage condition with minimal signs of wear. The surface of the silver has light marks and lines, which are typical of vintage pieces. The silver has a fine layer of patina, which can be polished up upon request. The earrings are stamped STERLING LMY.

The earrings measure 1-1/2" tall and 7/8" wide and weigh 6.00 grams. The box is for display only.
