Description
This beautiful ring from around 1900 features light purple amethyst and white opal set in 14K yellow gold. The oval-cut amethyst is framed by two natural opal cabochons, making a striking contrast. It’s a gorgeous late Victorian antique ring for any February or October baby!
The ring is in very good antique condition with minimal signs of wear. The surface of the gold has fine lines and marks, typical of antique pieces. The gemstones are securely set into the gold, and the prongs are in excellent condition. The ring is not stamped or marked, and the gold tested at 14K.
The ring is a size 5.75 and can be sized. The ring’s head measures 1/2″ wide and weighs 2.22 grams. The box is for display only.
