Behold this exquisite Edwardian necklace adorned with 55 dazzling rose-cut Bohemian garnets. These antique gemstones capture the essence of sunlight, emitting a radiant inner glow, perfectly complemented by the golden-hued gilt. This necklace is an exceptional choice for those born in January or anyone with an affinity for the alluring beauty of garnets!
Bohemian garnets came from Bohemia’s hills in Czechoslovakia and were very popular with the European upper class from the 1820s to the 1920s.

The necklace is in very good antique condition with minor signs of wear. The garnets show a few tiny nicks on the facet junctions under magnification. They have no significant chips or cracks, and all are secure in the mounting. The gilt has a fine patina layer that can be polished upon request. There are no marks or stamps, and A GIA Graduate Gemologist tested the garnets.
The necklace is 15-1/2″ long, the pendant drops 1-1/4″, and weighs 4.60 grams. The box is for display only.
