Description
This gorgeous ring from the 1930s is set with sparkling marcasite and a glowing green glass cabochon. Marcasite is faceted iron pyrite and was once referred to as “brilliants” in the Jazz era because of how it sparkles in candlelight. It’s a beautiful Art Deco ring to add to your collection!
The ring is in very good vintage condition with minimal signs of wear. There are no missing or chipped marcasites, and the glass cabochon is intact and firmly secure. The glass and silver surfaces have very light signs of wear from age but nothing noticeable. The inside of the shank is stamped STERLING. There is a heavy patina layer that can be polished upon request.
The ring is size 4.75 and can be sized. It measures 1″ by 3/4″ and weighs 5.10 grams. The box is for display only.
