Description
This fabulous and eye-catching ring features dozens of round, faceted marcasites set in sterling silver. The marcasite sparkle and glisten in the sunlight, adding to the vibrance of the floral motif—a great 1940s ring to add to your collection.
Marcasites became popular in the 1920s as a diamond substitute. They sparkle wonderfully in low light, which helped them earn the name “brilliants.”
The ring is in very good vintage condition with minor signs of wear. The marcasites are in excellent condition, all original and secure, with no signs of chips, pits, or cracks. The silver has a moderate patina layer that can be polished upon request. There are no marks or stamps.
The ring is a size 8.25 and could be sized. The head measures 1-1/4″ tall and 3/4″ wide and weighs 6.97 grams. The box is for display only.
Please note the measurements in the details section, as the item can appear more significant than the actual size. Shipping is combined on multiple orders.
