These beautiful earrings, rendered in 900 silver with a yellow gold wash, are set with 58 rose-cut pyrope garnets mined in Czechoslovakia’s hills. The open-back setting lets the sun illuminate the stones, making them sparkle and glow. The earrings are in very good vintage condition with minimal signs of wear. The metal’s surface has signs of wear, mainly on the backs, which you cannot see when wearing the earrings. There are areas of minor patina that can be polished upon request. The posts are stamped 900 (90% silver), G2 (Granat Turnov hallmark), and a hare’s head (Czech silver.) A GIA Graduate Gemologist examined the garnets. The screw backs are fully functional and secure to the ear.
The earrings measure 5/8″ tall and wide and weigh 5.13 grams. The box is for display only.
