The ring is in good vintage condition with some noticeable signs of wear. The garnets are in good condition; none are cracked or chipped, but some have tiny nicks and abrasions on the facet junctions under magnification. The garnets do not wiggle and are secure in the mounting. The surface of the gold wash shows fine lines and marks, mainly on the inside of the band. The shank is stamped 900 (90% silver), G2 (Granat Turnov hallmark), and the hare’s head (the silver mark of Czechoslovakia). Dark patina spots on the band from years of wear were left behind after polishing.
