The ring is in good vintage condition with some noticeable signs of wear. The garnets are in good condition; none are cracked or chipped, but some have tiny nicks and abrasions on the facet junctions under magnification. The garnets do not wiggle and are secure in the mounting. The surface of the gold wash shows fine lines and marks, mainly on the inside of the band, with an indentation by the stamps. The shank is stamped 800 and a worn maker’s mark. Dark patina spots on the band from years of wear were left behind after polishing. The shank is out of round.
The ring is a size 8.5 and cannot be sized. The head measures 3/4″ tall and wide, and the ring weighs 4.77 grams. The box is for display only.
