Description
Straight from the 1960s, this pyrope garnet and gold-washed silver circle pin is very simple and sweet. This brooch is a classic piece of mid-century jewelry history with the trendy circle pin to be worn as a sign of undying love, commitment, friendship, and sometimes to signify engagement. 34 rose-cut garnets glow in the sunlight and look fabulous on black fabric!
The pin is in very good vintage condition with minimal signs of wear. The surface of the metal has a light layer of patina, which can be polished upon request. The garnets are all rose cut, securely set into the mounting, and do not show signs of chips or cracks. The modern safety catch is fully functional, and the pin is stamped 900 for 90% silver. A GIA Graduate Gemologist tested the gemstones.
The brooch measures 3/4″ tall and 13/16″ wide and weighs 3.39 grams. The box is for display only.
