Description
This sweet and elegant 1970s Bohemian garnet bow brooch is set with 36 rose-cut pyrope garnets in gold-washed 900 silver. This small, unisex brooch would fasten on many fabrics and styles!
From the hills of Bohemia in Czechoslovakia, Bohemian garnets were very popular with the European upper class from the 1820s to the 1920s.

The brooch is in very good vintage condition with minimal signs of wear. There are a few minor scratches on the back of the brooch. The front looks great, with no noticeable signs of wear. The pin is stamped G for Granat Turnov.
The brooch is 1-3/4″ long and 1/2″ wide and weighs 5.13 grams. The box is for display only.
