Description
This unique Bohemian garnet necklace is crafted with 36 rose-cut pyrope garnets set into gold-washed 900 silver. The cluster of garnets catches the sunlight and glows from within while contrasting nicely with the metal. Made in the 1980s in Czechoslovakia, this gorgeous garnet necklace is an excellent piece for January babies or garnet lovers!
Bohemian garnets, from the hills of Bohemia in Czechoslovakia, were very popular with the European upper class from the 1820s to the 1920s.

The clasp is stamped G3 (Granat Turnov’s mark), 900 (90% silver), and a hare’s head (Czech silver stamp).
The necklace is 15″ long, 1-1/8″ wide and weighs 6.95 grams. The box is for display only.
