Antique 1900s Late Victorian Sterling Silver Chased Buckle Sash Pin Brooch

Buckle jewelry was wildly popular in the Victorian era, symbolizing a bond between giver and receiver. This gorgeous late Victorian buckle sash pin was rendered in sterling silver. The brooch is in very good antique condition with minimal signs of wear. The silver's surface has fine lines and marks, along with a heavy layer of patina, which can be polished upon request. The back is stamped STERLING RS 4. The c-clasp and pin are original and fully functional.

The brooch measures 1-3/4" wide and 1" tall and weighs 6.33 grams. The box is for display only.
