Vintage 1970s Celtic Orange Brooch - 70s Glass and Scottish Thistle Silver Plate Circle Brooch - Scottish Large Statement Brooch

Crafted in Great Britain, this gorgeous brooch is set with large, faceted orange glass in silver plate. The brooch has an intricate, antique-inspired thistle motif, Scotland‘s official symbol, trimming the borders. A great pin to add to your vintage collection!

The brooch is in very good vintage condition with minimal signs of wear. There are fine lines and scratches on the metal and glass surface, but nothing noticeable or obvious. The back is stamped MADE IN GT BRITAIN, and the metal is silver plate over brass. The pin, c-clasp, and hinge are fully functional. 

The brooch measures 1-3/4" tall and wide and weighs 18.38 grams. The box is for display only.
