This sweet and simple Bohemian garnet bow brooch from the 1970s is set with 36 rose-cut pyrope garnets in gold-washed 900 silver. This small, unisex brooch would fasten on many fabrics and styles!
Bohemian garnets from the hills of Bohemia in Czechoslovakia were highly sought after by the European upper class from the 1820s to the 1920s.

The brooch is in very good vintage condition, with minimal signs of wear. The back of the brooch has a few minor scratches. The front looks great, with no noticeable signs of wear. The pin is stamped G for Granat Turnov.
The brooch measures 1-3/4" in length and 1/2" in width, weighing 5.13 grams. The box is for display only.
