Description
This beautiful and vibrant Retro ring is set with an intensely colored 5.16-carat bright yellow lab-created sapphire and two single-cut diamonds in 10K gold. The scissor-cut yellow lab sapphire pairs nicely with the glistening gold. An outstanding vintage 1940s three-stone ring to wear alone or in a stack!
Lab-created sapphires are REAL gemstones, as they are chemically, optically, and physically the same as natural sapphires. The only difference is that synthetics were created in a controlled lab environment, and natural stones are formed during major geological events. You can read more about synthetics and lab-created gemstones here:
The ring is in very good to good vintage condition with some minor signs of wear. The lab sapphire is not chipped or cracked but is slightly loose in the setting. A jeweler can adjust this. The band is stamped 10K and JEWEL. The gold has fine lines and marks, typical of vintage jewelry.
The ring is a size 5.25, can be sized, and weighs 3.86 grams. The lab sapphire measures 11.8mm x 9.9mm x 4.6mm and weighs 5.16 carats. The diamonds are 1.5mm and weigh 0.01 carat each. The box is for display only.
