A beautiful statement ring from a vintage designer! This awesome floral cocktail ring from Kenneth Jay Lane was crafted in the 1990s from red enamel and gold-plated metal. The intricate petals give life to this large red rose ring.
Kenneth Jay Lane began his work in 1963 after he graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design. He studied under Hattie Carnegie and began work designing shoes for Christian Dior. He skyrocketed into the costume jewelry industry when designing for Elizabeth Taylor, Jackie Kennedy, and Audrey Hepburn.
The ring is in very good vintage condition with minimal signs of wear. The enamel and gold plate surfaces are not damaged and show typical signs of vintage wear. The petals are not chopped or damaged. The shank is stamped KJL CHINA.
The rose measures 1-3/8″ tall and 1-1/2″ wide and weighs 14.68 grams. The ring is a size 8.5 and cannot be sized. The box is for display only.
